FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO GUARDIANS' ASSOCIATION
A Nepali youth from New Zealand has provided financial support to the Myagdi Guardians' Association of mentally impaired children.
Loknath Poudel, a local of Pulchaur-4, Myagdi, who has been doing business in New Zealand for the past 17 years, provided assistance of Rs 55,555 in cash to the Association for the purchase of computer and printer.
On the occasion, Poudel was felicitated with a certificate of honorary member of the Association. Poudel said he has provided this assistance to sustain the Association established to provide support to the children living with mental impairment.
Poudel, who is also the international coordinator of Non-Resident Nepalese Association, New Zealand Chapter, has pledged to provide support to the day care centre to be operated by the Association in district headquarters, Beni, for mentally disabled children.
